About Me

If you ask me who I am, I will answer right in your face, with a smile, that I don’t know it yet, that I am still in process and that I am always about to find it out right now, in the moment. If you insist, I can try to be more conventional and tell you a little bit of my story. First, I will start talking about my children, Sophia and Valentijn and about my husband Christiaan and about Bahia and music and friends and family. Depending on the weather, I could tell you about how challenging it is to live abroad... If you ask for more, I can tell you about the books I love and the ideas I live for, I can even share that lately I've started noticing that singing is actually the best way of doing philosophy! But if  you really want to go into details I can also say that I am Brazilian, born in Salvador, Bahia, at June 08, 1981. In 1999 I entered Law School, which I have studied concomitantly with Tourism at the University of the State of Bahia and Theatre, at the “Cia de Teatro Caras e Bocas” with Gilberto Filho. After 1 year devoting myself to these three different areas, I decided to focus on the study of law, which I concluded in 2003, becoming a lawyer by the Bar Association of Brazil.
Specialized in Brazilian Law by the Bahian School of Magistrates, I have advocated for large law firms in Salvador, especially in the area of Consumer's Right Law. Before that, I worked as a trainee, at the Secretariat of Justice and Human Rights of the state of Bahia, and also at the “Consulado General de El Savador”.
In 2007 I moved to the Netherlands where I intended to do my Masters in Public International Law. I have studied English at U.V.A. (University of Amsterdam) and International Legal English, by Cambridge, but events in my personal life led me to change not only lifestyle, but also career.
In Europe, on the process of rebuilding myself after a life-crashing event, I discovered the Wereldhuis, an institute that assists undocumented immigrants in the Netherlands. There, since 2010, I have been having the opportunity to work empowering international women in a project called “Ladies Lunch”, which I have helped initiating together with other volunteers.
Following my heart and also full of enthusiasm for the new dimension I've discovered in life, I met the Newfield Network, where I studied Ontological Coaching during the year of 2011, graduating as a Professional Coach in 2012. I am currently doing a specialization in Life Coaching at an institute in Greece called Holistic Harmony, and preparing to become an ICF Associate Certified Coach (Acc)

In the Netherlands I have also re-discovered my potential as a community leader, having found the group Amsterdam International Women, besides having my life completely dedicated to the Mission of learning.

As a coach I have been helping people in their process of transformation and nowadays I attend at home, among my plants and books, as well as by phone or Skype call.
